Recently, Song Guoquan, member of the Standing Committee of Anhui Provincial Party Committee and secretary to Hefei Municipal Party Committee, went to the Hefei Xinzhan High-tech Zone for site study. During the stay, he also visited the site of Corning Gasoline Particulate Filter (GPF) Facility Project, which is undertaken by SYC, a subsidiary of CEEDI. Wei Yi, member of and secretary-general to Hefei Municipal Standing Committee, Lu Jun, secretary to the Party Committee and director of the management committee of Xinzhan High-tech Zone, the head of SYC’s Hefei Branch and Wu Dan, general manager of Corning Environmental Science and Technology (China), accompanied Song during his visit.

The Corning GPF project is another EPC project undertaken by SYC in Hefei. After putting into production, it mainly produces substrates and particulate filters for controlling vehicle emissions. The gasoline particle filter is the key component of light vehicles that meet the “National VI” emission standards. The project is also the second production base invested by Corning Environmental Technology in China after the first in Shanghai and will adds new impetus to the transformation and upgrading of Hefei""s industrial structure.
